Make time for the Meadows!

The Meadows Museum Sculpture Plaza has unveiled the major acquisition of a sculpture by Spanish contemprorary artist Jaume Plensa. This special gift to the Dallas community was made possible by the extraordinary generosity of committed patrons: The Eugene McDermott Foundation, Nancy and Jake Hamon, the Meadows Foundation and the Pollock Foundation - Mr. and Mrs. R. Pollock and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence S. Pollock III.

Graduate Pilar Tompkins, shares the following site: http://www.getty.edu/news/press/pacific_standard_time_release.html Pilar is assistant curator for the exhibition "Chicano Art Organizations: 1965-1980" to be held at UCLA's Fowler Museum. The Fowler is part of a Getty funded initiative and is tied to LACMA as well.
