Weather Wiz Kids
An excellent site that explains weather in a simple way the kids can understand. Site also provides great photos as well as good information.
Try Science
This site is extremely interactive and will draw you into the world of science.
Webscast for the Poles
The video is intrigueing but the sound quality is not always good. Still, student will be able to see video from the artic and it is cool.
Science U
This is a whole virtual university that explores Science. Interactive and entertaining educational fun.

Excellent math resource for all students K-12. Just let the site know your grade level and the appropriate practice skills will pop up.
BasketMath Interactive
Better for 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. Students can select any Math topic and answer questions. If they answer correctly, a computer animated basketball player will shoot the ball and score!
Victoria Search
A very clever way to practice division skills. Readers must solve division problems in order for the pages of the story to advance.
Brain Teasers- 3rd, 4th,5th
Three new math "brain teasers" are introduced every Wed. and an archive of past brain teasers available. Great for a weekly math challenge.
Create a Graph-4th and 5th graders
What a cool site. This will enable students to create printable bar graphs, pie charts, and line graphs by using colors and values on the student's choosing. Recommended for 4th and 5th grade.
Flashcards for Kids
Students select the math function and the flash card machine will produce a set of flash cards they can answer on the site. Choose Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division. Choose difficulty level. This is a lot of fun.

Many different fairytales for student to read. Recommended for 2,3,and 4th graders. There are also teacher tools on this site that some might find helpful. Fairytale lesson plans are fun.
