	Starbooks Class Book Awards

The students will nominate books each month for the StarBooks Class Book Awards. The criteria for nominations will change each month, and students can nominate any book they have read in our classroom or at home.

After we have all of the nominations, the students will try to read as many of the nominated books as possible; this will allow them to make an educated decision when voting for their favorites.

Then we have a special ceremony to unveil the winners. Each month we have a different guest speaker come to our class to present the awards.

Mrs. Lipinsky was one of our first guest presenters!

The winning books are hung on our bulletin board for the next month, and they are awarded a special label to forever identify it as a winner.

In a final awards ceremony of the school year, we vote for the book of the year. We have a very special guest come to announce the winners and these books will start the following school year on our award wall.
