Hershey Kiss- HC
I am a piece of candy. I sound like BOOM when I drop. I am smooth like a new born baby. I melt in your mouth like cotton candy. I am very rich. I am brown like coffee. I make the sound crunch when someone eats me or crumples up my wrapper.
I am a Hershey kiss!!

The Water Cycle- by Alex
The Water Cycle
I am sitting on a window still waiting to be noticed. I get heated up like the window is the oven and the sun is the heat. I start evaporating off of my spot in life like I am in a bottle of ’’Sierra Mist’’. I cool down like a person is blowing on me with it’s invisible air. I make a convoy with the other dust, the clouds. I gain weight over time. It becomes very heavy and crowded up there!! I fall to the ground.

Pumpkin- By Aidan
The Pumpkin's Wish
A grin from ear to ear. I’d keep a grin upon my face. I’d want a candle in my head. If I had one wish.

Oceans Are...
Oceans are dancing near the lime green plains Oceans are covering the giant salmon squid, giant great white sharks, and giant sapphire jellyfish Oceans are also dancing with the crimson lava from the volcanic mountain Oceans are a big body of salt water!

Winter Is...
Winter is...
Winter is like my white breath coming out. Winter is as white as a mad polar bear. Winter is like the icicles dropping. Winter is the season that shivers and shakes. Winter is like the sky that cries.

Descriptive Color Poem
Ruby Is...
Ruby looks like a rose when water drops on it on a beautiful day. Ruby sounds like a petal falling from a flower on a windy night. Ruby smells like perfume from a pretty young girl getting ready for a party. Ruby tastes like a nice juicy apple a little boy is picking. Ruby feels like a soft, red blanket a little girl is sleeping with. Ruby is a sunset going down with scarlet clouds around it.

Lightning- by MB
I am powerful. I shock you with my bolts of lightning. I make you tense and scared. I am like a lion roaring. I am faster than a leopard. I buzz like a bee because I am made of electricity.
I am lightning.

I Am a Quarterback- by MG
I Am A Quarterback
I am a quarterback. I throw the ball I score the I touch downs. My brother can not be a quarterback. He can not throw the ball. He can not score the touch downs but I could. I am a quarterback.

Nature Color Poem- by AD
Nature Color Poem
Salmon pink blushed rose is a flower that is waiting for the sun. The rust brown trees stand there cold and still. The emerald green berry bushes find their places in the woods. Mossy green grass moss grows on the trees that make it a fuzzy sweater. The gold sun hided below the dark hills.

I have beaten you in a Wiffle ball game bad.

Forgive me it’s not my fault you threw a curve ball low.

Contrast Color Poem- by CY
Contrast Color Poem
Ivy green looks like the stem on a sun flower. Steel gray looks like a wrench that tightens bolts. Ivy green sounds like a bellowing green frog in a swamp. Steel gray sounds like a steel bar getting hit. Ivy green smell like fresh green grass in summer. Steel gray smells like a sword that’s getting made. Ivy green taste like a green jelly bean. Steel tastes like the mystery flavored air head.

Fancy Socks- by JKo.
Fancy Socks
Fancy socks they dance around They dance until they touch the ground. They wiggle and jiggle and love to dance, As you can see. They laugh too! “Hee Hee Hee.” Fancy socks are socks you won’t see. Because I decided to keep them with me.

Personification Poem - by HC
Personification
The waves are waving when I leave. The ocean is crying in the sea. The mountains are standing very still, looking at the earth I think they’re ill. The valleys are doing the electric slide falling down the tiny hill, while they glide. The earth is beautiful I love it! The pretty sea and I can see The sea that is waving just like me. The sea is crashing down and down the sun just went down to the ground.

I Am an Outfielder- by MR
I Am An Outfielder
I am an outfielder. I can catch a fly ball. When I can’t get the ball and there's a man on third I lazar it to home. I hit lots of home runs I always have a smile. I dive for the ball I might make the catch. But when you’re an outfielder you have to be quick and have a good throwing arm. I know all this very well… but the only problem is I have to teach my brother.

Contrast Color Poem- by EB
Canary Yellow looks like a diamond Chinese lantern. Tangerine Orange looks like a grapefruit peeling. Canary Yellow sounds like a beautifully born golden finch. Tangerine Orange sounds like a penguin’s beak waddling in Antarctica. Canary Yellow smells like a sour lemon peeled and just picked. Tangerine Orange smells like a disgusting inside of a pumpkin. Canary Yellow tastes like the buttery popcorn jelly bean from Jelly Belly. Tangerine Orange tastes like a fat peep from Greek Easter. Canary Yellow feels like the fur on a cute little chick. Tangerine Orange feels like the sharp end of Chicken Little’s beak. Canary Yellow and Tangerine Orange are a gold pistol.

I knocked out your quarterback.
Which you were probably going to use.
Forgive me I had to throw the ball somewhere.
