October in the Pre-k 1 classroom was a fun month. We learned how to sign the colors and learned how to read the color words in print. We also had fun mixing colors together to see what color makes what. Shapes was our next theme and we did a great job learning how to draw the shapes. We are going to be so ready for Kindergarten! We welcomed Fall by going on a walk to use our senses to see, hear, smell, touch and listen to the sights and sounds of our new season, Fall. We also tasted homemade applesauce that we made in our classroom! In religion, we learned about Noah's Ark and attended mass for the first time. Our behavior was wonderful and we even earned a pom-pom for our class incentive jar!! To end the month, we learned about All Saints Day and some of us even dressed as Saints. We like going to church now with the rest of the school. Congratulations to Cameron who was the student of the month:)
