40 Under Forty 40 Under Forty

On May 7, Jackson Young, an outstanding business education student, was
honored at the 40 Under Forty Business Review luncheon along with three
other area high school honorees.

Each year the Business Review selects 40 outstanding young professionals
under 40 years of age.  According to The Business Review they are
“smart, active, and committed. They are young and on their way up.
Their accomplishments are impressive.”  In addition to these business
professionals, they also celebrated “the accomplishments and promise of
four high school students who have shown the potential to succeed in
business.”

According to Donna Shepardson, Columbia High School business teacher,
who nominated Jackson, “Jackson is every teacher’s ideal student—always
going above and beyond what is expected.  He has taken several business
classes and has excelled in all of them.  In addition to his academic
ability, his character is exemplary.”   Jackson plans on continuing his
education in the field of business.  Watch for Jackson to be honored as
a 40 Under Forty professional in the coming years.
