I am Denise Stevens the building supervisor and programs director.  I am here, along with all the staff at our center, to make sure your child's experience in preschool is very positive and exciting.  I want to make sure that we provide a loving, safe and nurturing atmosphere for your child and start him/her off with a positive attitude towards school.  I realize that you, the parent/guardian, are the most important teacher in your child's life, that is why our center has an open-door policy for parents/guardians and encourage parent participation and volunteers on a daily basis. I will do my best to make sure that your child loves school.  I guarantee that your precious child will be presented with a curriculum and learning environment that will prepare him/her for kindergarten.  I am always available for questions and for scheduled building tours.  I am frequently seen around the building and visiting the classrooms.  You may reach me Monday through Friday at 248-586-8815 or 248-586-8820. 

We are currently registering children for the 2009/2010 school year.  Please register your child at Harding Administration building in the Student Services office (2920 Burdette, 248-586-8686).  You will need your child's Birth Certificate (original), Immunization Record and 3 proofs of residency (please see ferndaleschools.org for more information on registration).  Your information will come to me in late August and I will then contact you, by phone, to discuss your placement options.  Please know that we have before and after care and all-day options available.  I look forward to speaking and meeting with you.

*NOTE:  All children registering for preschool will have to show documentation (signed by a physician) of a current physical and immunizations must be up-to-date.   Please get your child's physical completed over the summer.  Forms are available in the Student Services office at Harding Administration.  Have a great summer and see you in the fall.
