Welcome to another great year here at PGA!

Any Athlete who has earned a varsity letter is invited to join the Varsity Club.  Varsity Club is a school organization that supports and promotes athletics for all students.  Varsity Club and its members also support a number of activities by volunteering.  Members have read to elementary students during study halls, supported Special Olympics and have helped out with district wide functions such as Homecomings spaghetti dinner!  Each year, the Varsity Club also gives an award at Class Night. As a varsity athlete, your participation in this club is encouraged!

 In order to support the wide array of activities of the Varsity Club, all members are expected to participate in a minimum of two events and two fundraisers during the school year in order to participate in the end of year trip. There will be lots of new events this year; all members will be working on ways to support each other during each sport season with events geared toward Fall, Winter and Spring athletes. Input from each sport is important! We are looking for those athletes who intend to serve to sign up for Varsity Club!  In order to become a member, you must have earned a varsity letter. You may join during the year if you are on varsity during your season of play. (Example, Join in Winter if you are playing Varsity Basketball, Fall for Varsity Soccer, etc.) Fall Varsity athletes will receive this letter from their coaches. All other athletes are to attend the club meetings held throughout the year.
