The art room can be a fun and creative place.

All students are taught the correct handling of all art supplies and are expected to follow instructions. This means no running with scissors, no sword fights with rulers and other juvenile activities. This is a high school work space for artists. Outlandish behavior will not be tolerated.

Studio etiquette pertains to the neatness and accuracy of the work area and the work of the artistic creator.  The saying cleanliness is next to godliness is true in this case. It is in the hands of the artistic creator, you, the student. 

Adequate time is given for cleanup. Studio etiquette is part of a students grade, and includes cleanup, material use and on task work.
