Welcome  parents of 2008-2009 first grade students. I am happy to be your child's teacher this year. I will be communicating school and classroom news to you via this site and also through a hard copy newsletter.

Success in first grade is very important to a student's future success in school. I will do my very best to see that each child feels good about him/her self and about learning.I ask for your help as well. Please check your child's folder each night for homework or other communications. Please read toether every night and see that your child comes to school prepared.

Your child's year in first grade will be a full one. I look forward to meeting parents at open house and to working with you and your student this school year.
