Here it is November already !

We are learning about maps-  the parts of a map and how to use them.

We will be traveling to the NY State Museum on November 20 to participate in a program on Native Americans. This month, we will be learning about the Pilgrims and American Indians and how the first Thanksgiving came about.

We are in the process of making our Native American shirts, necklaces and headdresses and will be wearing them at our POW Wow on November 23.

Our character education word for the month is responsibility.

Our author of the month is Eric Carle.

Parent conferences are Wednesday, November 19 and Tuesday, December 8.These are both half days for students.

Thanksgiving recess will be November 25-29.
