2007 Promising Practice for Kindness is Contagious and A Multicultural Approach to Arts Education.

2007 Brigantine Healthiest School in Atlantic County.

2007 Glitter Award for Clean Communities of New Jersey.

2006 National Boyer Best Practice Award for Character Education. Only school nationally to receive this award in 2006 and $10,000 grant.

2006 Kindest School in New Jersey award from Mission Kindness International. [Fourth time in ten years that the students performed the most acts of kindness in the state]

2006 Radio Disney-NJEA Award For Most Books Read by Students in New Jersey. Our students averaged 35 books read during a five month period.

2007 Glitter Award for Clean Communities of New Jersey.

2006 New Jersey Best Practice awarded to G.YM. (Get Yourself Moving) Program.

2006 Public Health Partnership Award for the program, “Get Yourself Moving” that teaches children the importance of staying healthy through nutrition and exercise.

2004-2005 New Jersey Best Practice in Technology for  Elementary School Television: Tuning into Technology

2005-Kindest School in New Jersey

2003-2004 GOVERNOR'S SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE  for high test scores and exemplary programs

2003-2004- New Jersey Best Practice in Citizenship and Character Education for the program, “Kindness is Contagious”
