A homework recording sheet will be included in the folder every Monday and must be returned to class on Friday morning.  A “Homework Menu” will be placed in the back pocket of the “Home/School Communication” folder, and will remain there for the duration of the school year. This menu describes choices for activities to be done daily.  The school district also requires teachers to include nightly reading assignments.  It is very important to make sure that your student either reads or is read to nightly.  This very important task should begin immediately and continue throughout the year.  The weekly recording sheet has a place for you to record the books that are read and the activity that you chose from the menu each day.
