Welcome to the second year of IB Chemistry. We have two semesters of hard work ahead of us!. This year we will cover advanced chemistry topics, complete a research project, as well as review for the IB Chemistry Exam. Chemistry is called the “central science” as chemical principles underpin the physical environment in which we live and all biological systems. Apart from being a subject worthy of study in its own right, chemistry is a prerequisite for many other courses in higher education, and serves as a useful preparation for employment.
