Welcome to Third Grade » Far and Away
Far and Away One of the things in 3rd grade that all kids love is the in depth study we do in our social studies units. This year we will study the countries of Canada, Mexico, Italy and China. We really try to plan many exciting activites for the kids to really get a true feeling for the cultures of these foreign countries. Our favorite time during the year is when we plan "Team Time". The kids get a chance to be grouped with friends from other 3rd grade classes and they get to rotate between all three of the 3rd grade teachers, including Mrs. Leinung, the librarian, who is part of our third grade team. The kids really love these days!
