Welcome!

Archer Street School Library Media Center

  Family STEAM Night Coming Soon!

June 12, 2017

For the second year in a row, Archer Street is the recipient of a generous grant awarded by the Freeport Educational Foundation. This grant has provided the resources to further our involvement in STEAM (Science,Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) related activities,  supporting the Next Generation Science Standards and STEM.  It is important to afford this time and challenge to our students in order to ensure that we can cultivate innovators who will be able to meet the needs of our future society. Coding through the use of robots, creating inventions through circuitry and engineering will be a focus for this endeavor.  In addition art and music will be highlighted through the creation of motorized robots

and upcycled instruments.
