1st Grade Artists are working on page 3 of their Art Book! Most of their assignments this year will be compiled into an Art Book and bound and the end of the year. If you're interested in helping bind the books, let me know!

2nd Grade Artists are completing their Florescent Fish Pattern Paintings. They were very excited to use the Florescent paints!

3rd Grade Artists are starting their Magical Morning Birds. They were excited to learn that they can blend/mix crayon colors, even though we can't stir them like paint!
*Third Graders also finished a SPECIAL project for the auction, you can see it there!

4th Grade Artists are completing their unit on LINE. All of their assignments this year will be based on the Elements of Art. Ask them if they can tell you all 7.
*Fourth Graders also finished a SPECIAL project for the auction, you can see it there!

5th Grade Artists are having fun with Contour Line Drawings. Ask them what the 3 rules are to complete a contour drawing.

6th Grade Artists are finishing up a cross-curricular assignment. They finished a unit on Egypt in Social Studies. Then we created Egyptian Story Vases in Art. Finally they had a speaker in Social Studies. They were very excited to see the subject across the subjects!

7th Grade Artists are learning to shade volumes. Adding value to a volume makes it appear 3-dimensional.

8th Grade Artists are finishing up there Advertising Unit. They painted the posters for the 8th Grade Drama class musical: Mirror Image. You can come see the musical in December!
