Computer Science AP

Open to 10th - 12th grade.

Prerequisite:  Algebra I and Computer Science I

Course Description:  Computer Science AP is a programming course designed to cover the Advance Placement Computer Science Placement Computer Science A Exam topics.  The curriculum will build upon the topics addressed in Computer Science I. 

Object oriented components in the languages of Visual C++ and Java will be stressed.  Other topics include decision making, looping, arrays, inheritance, interfaces, abstract classes, Java collections, sorting, searching, and the AP case study.

Course can count for one credit of technology applications.

This course is a prerequisite for Independent Study - Algorithms.
