English I/Reading Final project.  The project will be worth 20% of your grade. 

 Students will create a power point presentation to summarize the 24 books of "The Odyssey" and illustrate each. Your information will come from a shortened version that will be provided. Your illustrations should come from the picture websites that have been provided.  Use the Grade Rubric to plan your power point.

Book I

Survivors of the Trojan War have returned home except Odysseus.  Athena petitioned her father to help him get home. Athena disguised herself and  set out to find Odysseus' son, Telemachus.

Minimum 26 slides

5 points  _____    Title slide

3 points  _____    Background slide

72 points_____  24 book slides - 

10 points _____ Use complete sentences with correct capitalization and punctuation.  Each

                           summary must have 2 or 3 sentences. 

10 points _____ Each slide must have correct summary and a meaningful illustration.
