Our class rules will give every student the opportunity to manage his/her own behavior. Your child deserves a positive atmosphere that promotes academic growth. This is why it is extremely important that your child follow each of the rules and be able to learn in an environment with as few distractions as possible.
Classroom Rules 1. Always be prepared! 2. Work quietly! 3. Be respectful! 4. Follow directions! 5. Follow all Handbook Guidelines!
To encourage students to follow the classroom rules, I will reinforce appropriate behavior with rewards, positive notes, free time, and praise. Each day your child will start with a green slip. The following system explains how a child changes colors of slips. Green- Great Behavior! Yellow- 15 minutes off recess! Red- 30 minutes off recess! Black- 30 minutes off recess and a note home to the parent (or punishment determined by teacher)
