World Civilizations: The Global Experience - Peter Stearns
This website is the offical on-line companion to our textbook for both pre-AP World Cultures and AP World History. It contains outlines, practice quizzes, review aides, drill cards, and links to other useful websites.
Traditions & Encounters - Bentley and Ziegler
This is the on-line website to Traditions and Encounters, one of the most popular texts in World History. In class it is the source from which I lecture. The site contains useful tools and materials for the study of world history.
The Earth and Its Peoples - Bulliet et al.
This is the website to the 2nd Edition of the Earth and Its Peoples, one of the three great texts for AP World History. It contains links, primary sources, Internet exercises, practice tests and quizzes, maps, and glossaries. Its greatest usefulness is its on-line practice quizzes which the 3rd edition does not have.
World Civiliations in Brief - Peter Stearns
Welcome to the Companion Website for Peter Stearns, World History in Brief, Fourth Edition. This site offers a range of interactive resources for students and instructors including downloadable visuals, internet exercises designed especially for use on the web, and an online syllabus manager.
The World's History - Howard Spodek
The companion site to Spodek's text which we will use in class to cover thematic content.
World History - On-Line Course
This is an on-line course in college world history. When you are ill and cannot attend class, I will instruct you to visit this site for information.
Encyclopedia of World History
This is a wonderful source for world history in an outline format. It is organized by periods, regions, and continents. This is a wonderful tool for main ideas, concepts, dates and people although it can become overwhelming in the amount of data it organizes.
