The Science curriculum is based on the National Science Standards and the Washington State GLEs. Students may take their science classes either as a teacher led class or as an individualized learning plan according to the schedule below:
September: Periods 1 and 4:Orientation
Periods 2,3,5,6:Lab techniques and investigations
October:Period 1 8:20- 9:10 Orientation
Period 29:15-10:05Physical Science Learning Plans. The learning plans have two components: your in-class work and your homework. One lab is required per week for the duration of your learning plan. Each learning plan should take 6-8 weeks to complete. Earth and Space science are distinct learning plans. Students begin with the chemistry learning plan.
