Remember students:

Let your choices and decisions

glorify Jesus Christ.

Here we go again!  Can you believe it is time for a new school year?  To begin the year, we should all set goals.  We need to look at last year and see if there are things upon which we might need to improve.

Let's get organized!!!

  • Get your locker organized- Take time to clean out your locker on a regular basis, and get rid of things that are cluttering it.  Do you need all the stuff in your locker?  Sometimes, you do homework and can't find it when needed but often locate things later in the vast wasteland of your locker.
  • Get your binders organized-  You will know what is required by each teacher.  Be sure you have all the proper labels and indexes (dividers) in your binders so you can immediately have a place for everything.  This is a requirement, so don't put it off.
  • Homework- Have it in class every day.  I have NEVER had a student fail who always did homework.  Isn't that something?  If you have had difficulty with this in the past, this is a perfect goal for you.
  • Come to class prepared- This is a big one!! Be sure to bring your textbook, binder, paper, pencil and pen to class every single day.  There isn't time for extra trips to your locker. It is up to you!
  • Use your agenda- In the middle school, there are too many things going on and too many requirements for you to keep in your head, so use the afenda as it is designed.

Parents and students, I hope this will give you some good food for thought.  As always, thanks for sharing your wonderful students.  Please remember to email me if you have any questions.

Blessings and peace,

Christy M. Quinn
