What if a parent wants to talk with a teacher?

Emergencies: call the school office - (248-541-1622).
Non emergencies, call, send a note with your child
and we will call or write you as soon as possible.

When are assignments due?

Assignments are due the next day.  We will
specify the dates for any particular project or report.

What happens if I forget my homework?

Homework must be ready to turn in the day after it is
assigned.  Homework turned in one day late will have
10% deducted from their grade.  Two or more days
late and the student will receive a zero for the
    assignment.

If my child is absent, how do I get their work?

Assignments will be written in a "Master Planner." Anyone
absent more than one day may request a copy of the
"Master Planner" which will be put into your  childs' locker
with the books necessary to complete the work.  If a book
is not there, then check your childs' backpack.  Please
have the assignments completed as soon as possible.

How can I know if I missed a homework assignment?

It is the students' responsibility to check the "Homework
Notebook" to see if they have completed all missing
assignments.  This is important for all students who are
altar servers, work in bank, absent, tardy, and are gone for
any period of time from the classroom.

What if my child is spending to much time doing homework?

We can discuss whether your child is using study time in
class wisely.  Then we can assess the situation.  A phone
call or a note would be appropriate.

How do I know what is a daily assigned homework?

All homework assignments are written on the board.  The
students are asked to fill in their "Assignment Notebook"
when the assignment is given, and at the end of the day.
It would be wise if parents would browse over the
"Assignment Notebook" daily.  This will ensure that your
child is right on target and organized for school.
