Our story this week is The Talent Show. The genre is realistic fiction. Our vocabulary words are:

gym: large room used for indoor sports

perform: to take part in a public show

prefer: to like better than something else

recite: to repeat from memory

enjoying: having a good time; taking pleasure in something

billions: a very very large number of things

roam: to wander; to move around without purpose

Try using these vocabulary words throughout the week to help your child become more familiar with the words and their meanings.
