Grade 4

• Daily Agenda (can be purchased from school)
• Many sharpened #2 pencils (Ticonderoga works best) (don’t let your child take them to school all at once)
• Erasers for the tops of pencils
• 1-2 highlighters (for finding important information)
• 2-3 pens (for correcting and fun writing)
• Markers (Crayola is the best for art supplies)
• Crayons
• Colored pencils
• Ruler
• 2-3 Glue sticks (don’t let your child take them to school all at once)
• 1 Small pencil sharpener that holds pencil shavings and can fit in a pencil case
• Scissors
• 6-7 pocket folders (plastic folders are the best!!) (home folder, school folder, health, music, writing, reading)
• 2-3 one subject notebooks (reading, spelling,)
• Writing Journal (one subject notebooks work fine for this)
• Pencil case (the zipper kind is better, the pencil boxes tend to fall easily out of desks and crack over time)
• 3 book covers (brown paper bags work fine for this)

**Large binders with or without zippers are wonderful organization tools, but in 4^th grade they tend to be more work to store than necessary.  If your child must use one, it must remain off the floor (fire hazard) and placed inside his or her desk or in his or her backpack.  If it becomes a problem, I will ask your child to take it home.**

• Clorox Wipes or any cleaning wipes similar
• Anti-bacterial hand sanitizer
• Liquid soap
