Study Tips
When your child is studying for a test here are some tips to help them do their best: - Provide a quiet environment, free from any distractions (T.V., music, siblings...)
- Have all materials you need in front of you - Create songs, chants, or mnemonics (ex. H.O.M.E.S.- to remember the Great Lakes) - Make it a game - Allow plenty of time for your child to study, especially over a few days. Don't cram all your studying into the night before. - Relax, remember that studying should be free of pressure.
Methods for Studying Math Facts - Use regular flash cards
