Personification
This simple project tied in with a Grade 5 poetry unit. Students were asked to create an image based on the idea of personification. Basically giving an object or thing human like qualities. Students began by sketching out different ideas and then enlarging their favorite image. Next, they layered on some simple washes of watercolor and finished the project by outlining the image with black marker.
