Primary and Secondary Tools
Students were introduced to the work of Jim Dine. Specifically his tool drawings. They then created a composition with either carpenter tools or kitchen utensils. Once the composition was finished, they learned about primary and secondary colors. The students used colored pencils to complete their compositions. A fun project, but it took a lot of time to finish.
