Explorers Ships
This project was integrated with the Grade 5 unit on Explorers. Students were divided into groups and given the task of creating a galleon or privateer ship out of cardboard. Students learn about the construction of the ships and ship terminology while make their replicas. The finished ships were then used as game pieces on a large game board inthe classrooms.
