Dear Students,

At this time I will not be giving you any assignments to complete.  Please focus on the work given to you by your homeroom, Japanese and other Specialist teachers.  If you are able to finish all of this work and are looking for something to do, why not try one of the following ideas:

1) Create a comic strip based on you travelling to a lost world and what you might discover there.  Draw out the comic using pencil (press lightly) and then if you have pencil crayons or markers color in your comic.  If you have a black pen or fine tip marker, outline your comic to make it stand out more.

2) Choose a theme such as monsters, space, the desert etc.  Create a collage that illustrates this theme.  A collage is a piece of art created by finding images from various sources including magazines and newspapers.  These images are used to create a new image based on your chosen theme.  Cut out your images and then put them together to create your new image on a sheet of paper.  Once you have an image you like, please glue all of the pieces down.  Once done take a look at the final work and see if you could improve on it.

3) If you had all th emoney in the world wht would your berdroom look like.  Think of all the great toys and furniture that you could put into it.  Now take a pice of paper and draw out your ideas.  Once done, either paint it or color it using crayons.  Remember, the only thing limiting your ideas is you imagination.  Let it run wild for this activity.

Lastly, have fun with these ideas.  If you hav ehte time this is a great way to spend an afternoon or evening.  I really hope that once you return to school you will bring in your finished work to share with your class and me.
