TESTING WEEK

Just continue to work on your Explorer report/extension until Friday

Only homework for the rest of the week is to finish your explorer report. Practice
talking about your explorer for your oral presentation. You can
“glance” at notes, but try not to read word for word. Remember, you are the expert! You should be prepared to tell us:

1. His name
2. What he explored and when
3. What was most important about what he did or discovered
4. How his exploration changed the world, or made a difference

****No rough drafts are necessary to turn in. Only your stack of paraphrased note cards and the
finished 5 paragraph essay with “sources” page being the last page.

Bring all of your materials that you need to continue working on your report on Thursday. After your writing prompt, you will have time to work in class.
