Welcome to 5th Grade with Mrs. Kelly!  Fifth grade is the most exciting year of all, and I am thrilled to be adding a classroom full of new children to my daytime family! This is a big year for me personally, as my husband, Patrick, and I will are sending off our beautiful and only daughter, Brenna, to study at Washington State University. It doesn't seem so long ago that Brenna was in these halls herself as an Abby Reinke fifth grader with Mrs. Garcia. So...where does that time go?
Time will fly for you as it did for me with my child, I'm sure, so I'm very happy to provide you and your family with this website so that being a part of our classroom community and staying connected will always be within reach. I hope you'll enjoy using it as much as I enjoy creating it for you! Our website will also serve as a vehicle for nightly homework, especially helpful when your child is absent, and is designed to support you in your understanding all of the subjects taught in fifth grade. Since daily access to working computers can sometimes be unpredictable, it would be inconsiderate for me to ask you to rely on this alone. So, our website mostly reinforces your child's daily Reminder-Binder, my notes or e-mails home, our classroom curriculum and happenings, plus a few more surprises added in for fun. Thank you for your support and for staying active in your child's school life at Abby Reinke!
