College Savings Saving with at 529 Plan is beneficial. Any earnings are tax-deferred and qualified withdrawals for higher education expenses are tax-free. These expenses include tuition and fees, books, room and board, and equipment or supplies required for attendance or enrollment. Additionally, funds may be used virtually any college or university nationwide and some schools abroad. Check out Tennessee's Path2College 529 Plan for more information.
