Besides slavery, how do you think the south changed after the civil War?

Powerpoint with video clips from each of the Topics listed.  We watched the video clips and then wrote MAIN IDEA summaries for each one.  If you were absent, write excused here because you won’t be able to access the Safari videos.

Which event/topic that was covered today do you believe was most important in shaping the USA after the Civil War?  WHY?  (Topics covered Introduction to Reconstruction and Segregation, Legacy of Reconstruction, Industrialization and Urbanization, The Railroads, Rise of Heavy Industry, Rise of the Cities, Immigration and Social Change, and The New Immigration.)
