Monthly Celebrations
In fourth grade, we believe in celebrating student learning whenever we can. One way we can do this is to take a few minutes each month and recognize student achievement. So, each month, we will pause for treats, activities, and "Kudos" for our 4th graders. We will also take this time to celebrate student birthdays. We found this works better than having treats brought several times during the month for various student birthdays. Though we enjoy the goodies, it can be disruptive to all the great learning going on.
It would be great if students who have a birthday during that month could save their treats for the Celebration Day. The schedule is below:
September (June) Birthdays bring treats to the September 30 Celebration.
October (July) Birthdays bring treats to the October 30 Celebration.
November (August) Birthdays bring treats to the November 24 Celebration.
December Birthdays bring treats to the December 22 Celebration.
January Birthdays bring treats to the January 29 Celebration.
February Birthdays bring treats to the February 26 Celebration.
March Birthdays bring treats to the March 31 Celebration.
April Birthdays bring treats to the April 30 Celebration.
May Birthdays bring treats to the May 21 Celebration.
