Fiction Retelling Example

Fiction Retelling Example Fiction Retelling Example

No matter the genre, students show their understanding of a text by a "retell". A retell has several components and looks different for fiction and nonfiction. Please take a peek at this example of a fiction retelling. Our goal is to have students retelling stories with few to no prompts orally and in written form. The more they can use their own words, and the more they can give examples from the story to support their answers, the better!

I have added the link to my original poster (using glogster.com) below in case it is difficult to read the words on the jpeg. Thank you!
