CFA Athletic Boosters

Students who participate in CFA athletics learn that it is a privilege and an honor to represent their school. During athletic activities they will gain discipline, teamwork and leadership experiences that will help prepare them to be the Christian leaders of their generation. The CFA Athletic Boosters is a group of parents, students, volunteers, businesses and teachers who are dedicated to enriching our students’ involvement in extracurricular activities. The purpose of the Booster Club is to supporting CFA athletics while promoting fellowship, sportsmanship, and team spirit. The Booster Club provides valuable support to a private school that does not receive any funding for its athletic programs. The sports fee paid by each student athlete does not cover the total cost of the athletic program. CFA has to pay $700 per year in athletic conference fees, pay gymnasium rental, pay referee fees per game, pay for gas for the team buses, purchase uniforms, and purchase new equipment. The Booster Club helps fill this gap by providing funding to support the athletic department. Members of the Booster Club also provide valuable support and assistance to the coaches and athletic director. They sell admission to athletic events, work in the concession stand, travel with the teams to away games and help build team spirit in the school. Members also help prepare the soccer field, volleyball court, cross country trail, and gymnasium before a competition. The membership dues for the 2010-2011 school year are: - CFA Student Membership = $5
- Individual Membership = $15
- Family Membership = $25
- Business Membership = $50
