Curriculum

Every effort is made to find and/or develop the best curriculum available to meet the needs of our students. The faculty and staff meet on a regular basis to review, evaluate, and write curriculum. At present we use a combination of materials from: A Beka Book, Association of Christian Schools International, BJU Press, Christian Book Distributors, Christian Family Press, Christian Schools International, The Institute in Basic Life Principles, Singapore Math, Shurley Grammar, Veritas Press, and Vision Forum. We also encourage parents to provide input on materials that they have found to be good. We are continually striving to provide the best curriculum and materials available for our students.

While we use a wide variety of curriculums, every effort is made to keep the costs at a minimum for any textbooks and materials that students will need to purchase. Many of the books we use are available at the school or the local library. 

We encourage parents to select good books of their own choosing for their children to read. We also ask them to read to their children or have their children read to them and to make reading good books a family affair. Reading is key to a good education.
