Organizational Structure

Christian Family Academy is a ministry of Christian Family International. It operates under the direction of the corporate officers of C.F.I. The administration and staff carry out the day-to-day operations of the school. The school staff meets on a regular basis to plan and prepare for classes. Parents are involved in virtually every area of the school. They help choose the classes their child will take. They select the supplemental reading their child does. They assist in classes, field trips, special activities and programs at the school. Christian Family Academy is a family friendly school.

Elementary School (Grades K – 7th)

Each classroom teacher will instruct in Bible and history. In math and language arts, specialists will teach students at their own ability levels. This will be done through daily break out sessions that are structured so that no student is either left behind or held back in these key subjects. Science is taught each Friday through exciting hands on demonstrations, projects, and multimedia presentations.

In the afternoon, kindergarten through fourth grade students engage in directed homework sessions, art, music, and help classes. Fifth through seventh grade students are taught Latin, Keyboarding, Logic, and creative writing. Friday afternoons are optional times for kindergarten through seventh grades. Field trips and fun activities are planned during this period.

High School (Grades 8th – 12th)

The high school is organized into a semester block format. Parents help determine the classes their child will take and the students come only for the classes they actually need. However, if a student wants to graduate through Christian Family Academy he/she will need to meet the NC state requirements for graduation. In addition to the core courses the high school also offers a number of elective courses.
