Mission and Purpose Statement

To assist Christian parents in fulfilling their biblical responsibility to train their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord by providing Christian formal education and training.

We believe that God’s Word alone is the foundation for all truth. Therefore education, including formal education, should be based on the Word of God.

We believe that parents are responsible for their children’s training and should be actively involved in their children’s formal education.

We believe that God’s plan of reaching our families and the world is by the personal witness and example of being a disciple of Jesus Christ and making disciples of others also.

Christian Family Academy is founded upon biblical principles. Following are the key truths of the Bible upon which the school operates. These truths are considered the primary doctrinal statements upon which the Christian faith is based and as such will be faithfully taught throughout the school.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (I John 5:7, Matthew 28: 19, I Timothy 2:5-6)

We believe that God is the creator and sustainer of the universe. We believe that He is holy, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, and perfect in all His attributes.(Genesis 1, Revelation 15:4, Psalms 117:5, Psalms 139)

We believe the Bible is the only inerrant, authoritative Word of God.
(II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:20-21)

We believe that God created mankind in His image, but because of his sin, man is separated from God. We believe that all men are born with sinful natures and are sinners by nature and by choice. (Genesis 1:26, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:12)

We belive in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His death to pay the penalty for sin, in His bodily resurrection, and in His ascension to the right hand of God the Father. (Matthew 1:18-23, Hebrews 4:15, I John 2:1-2, I Corinthians 15:1-4, Ephesians 1:20)

We believe that only those who have faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone are saved. Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father. (John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10, John 1:12, John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Ephesians 2:8-10)

We believe that when a person becomes a Christian he/she is indwelt by the Holy Spirit who enables the Christian to live a life that is pleasing to God. (John 14:15-17, Galatians 5:16, Romans 8: 9-14)

We believe in a literal kingdom Heaven and judgement of Hell. We believe that those who have faith and trust in Christ alone have eternal life and those who do not have faith in Christ are eternally dead. (John 14:1-3, Matthew 10:28, Hebrews 9:27-28)

We believe that the true Church is composed of all those who have faith and trust in Jesus Christ. As members of the Body of Christ, Christians must strive to maintain unity, to love one another and to encourage and build each other up unto maturity in Christ. (Colossians 1:16-18, Ephesians 1: 22-23, Ephesians 4:1-6)

We believe in the imminent and personal return of Christ for His Church. (I Thessalonians 4:13-18, James 5:7-8, Philippians 3:20-21, Colossians 3:4, II Thessalonians)
