Thank you to Mrs. Maggio, Mrs. Fernandez, Mrs. Chew and all the Moms and Dads who helped make Colonial Day a wonderful experience for our children.

Children may bring a Valentine Card (please send in 1 for everyone in the class). Just have your child sign the card inside. Do not put names on the envelope.

ROLLER SKATING Registration Form is under 'files' and is DUE on 2/14!
BUS DRIVER APPRECIATION DAY is Thursday, February 16th. BAKERS ARE STILL NEEDED. Please contact our Chairwomen Patti Doerr and Mimi Bogdan with your offer to bring in goodies. Trays of assorted
treats are gifted to each bus driver and bus transportation office staff as a 'thank you' to them for the safe transportation of our children. Please consider contributing to this event.

We collect BOX TOPS! Before you put your boxes and cans in the recycling bin, check the label on them for the BOX TOP logo, remove it and send it in with your chldren. Every BOX TOP
is worth 10 cents. So, send in 10 Box Tops and SLS will receive $1.00; 100 labels and the school receives $10.00. You get the idea!! This is a great math exercise for any age level. The next time we will receive a check is March 1st. How many can we collect by then?
The 2/9 Thursday Envelope will be coming home on Friday or next Monday-due to technical difficulties! Thank you for your patience.

Due to a glitch with a pull down menu in Power School, PE shows a minus sign - instead of a blank. If your child received a - in PE please know that it means a Satisfactory performance and not a negative. Appreciate your patience as we continue to work with Power School.

Classroom Parties - Please individually wrap treats for all Holiday Parties to avoid spreading colds and flu.

Birthday Celebrations - We will have non-food celebrations starting in the Fall. The children will be able to dress out of uniform for that special day.

Healthy Snack - Visit Nurse Pasley's web site for a list of healthy snack ideas.

Classroom Supplies - If possible, all soap donations to the classroom should be non scented - because of peanut allergies!!

MONEY SENT TO SCHOOL
Please be sure that all money sent to school is in check form. Additionally, please put all checks in a sealed envelope with your child's name and what it is for.
