Homework

Each week students are responsible for completing three spelling activities in their spelling workbook. By Friday your child should show me their three completed activities. We do one lesson a week. Most nights your child will have a side B of a Saxon math sheet to complete. Side A is completed in class and it is the child's responsibility to bring home each night. Math homework is put in the yellow basket each morning. We usually do not have homework on Friday nights. Each night students will read guided reading books, library books, AR books or books from home. This website is a great tool to help select appropriate leveled text. Take this list to the library or book store when you go. http://home.comcast.net/~ngiansante/gradeone.html "A child educated only at school is an uneducated child." -George Santayana
