February News Our Homework is updated weekly - keep checking! 100th Day - WOW! We have reached 100 days of school.... we have 82 days of learning left. Everyone has been working so hard and making wonderful progress! Keep up the great work. The month of February is bringing us to Non Fiction reading and strategies! We will be diving into wonderful narrative and informative non fiction books and features. Our class will be looking at determining importance, main idea, and questioning. We will use these strategies to write a report. We have also been working hard over the last few weeks on Readers Theatre Scripts. All students have been placed into a group and will "perform" thier plays to their classmates during the week of Feb. 8th. They have done a fantastic job working on their fluency and expression, as well as creating masks and backgrounds!! Dates to Remember: February 2nd - Report Cards Feb. 11 - Field Trip to Recycling Center - Please bring a large snack for the am and a bag lunch for the pm Feb. 15-19 - School Vacation Happy Birthday!
