**Mystery Readers Still Needed!** Our Homework is updated weekly - keep checking! I can't believe that the first semester is already over! Report Cards will be given out November 13. This is a very short but busy month. We will be covering a lot of ground in Math and Sciece. The students will work on addition with regrouping - they need to be practicing their basic math facts at home. They can use flashcards to practice this. In reading the students will be working on Connecting in their reading. We will focus on how to make meaningful connections with ourself, our text, and the world around us. Science will bring us to learn about the changes in the Earth. We will look at how volcanoes and earthquakes change the earth's surface. We will also examine and label some of the earth's landforms - plateau, plain, mountain. Dates to Remember:
November 11 - No School November 16 - 19 - 1/2 Day Schedule (Parent Conferences) November 25th - 1/2 Day November 26, 27 - No School
