ALUMNI TREES
UPDATE-- THE CRAA WILL BE PLANTING REPLACEMENT TREES THIS FALL or EARLY SPRING not all of the trees made it so we will be replacing with flowering pears... if you would like to help with this project please let us know at cenreg76@aol.com Dear Fellow Alumni, In 1965 Central began a tradition of each graduating class planting a tree on campus along with a plaque identifying the class. Over the years about 20 classes planted trees. Some of the trees survived but some were removed during the recent construction of buildings and parking lots. Our alumni organization feels that this is a worthwhile project and we would like to expand the endeavor to include each graduating class. This will not only enchance school tradition but will also help to beautify the campus. We welcome any participation including financial donations, tree donations and help planting trees. Thank you, Mr. Paul Wilberscheid, Class of 1958 UPDATE January 2006-Our tree planting program commemorating each class is underway. Many classes have already commited to the project. We planted 19 trees in spring 2006. Plantings include tree, topsoil, fertilizers and a plaque indicating year of graduation. The approximate cost is $400. The first 19 trees were planted along the breezeway. TODAY'S UPDATED LIST OF COLLECTIONS This is the Alumni Association's first project to give back to Central Regional High School.
