The Central Regional Alumni Association has taken on a humanitarian effort
called "Cell Phones for Soldiers". The alumni association has been
collecting Cell Phones for Soldiers since July 2007 and have mailed over 3700 to
date. Each phone and all
the accessories, no matter what condition they are in, are mailed to a
recycler and the profits are sent to the organization headquarters in
Massachusetts. From there, calling cards, worth 60 minutes each, are issued
to our soldiers. Cards can be sent upon request to individuals overseas. If
you would like to have some cards sent, please contact Nancy at
732-606-6040.
We have various drop locations throughout the area for the convenience of
our donators.

We have had the honor of having
3,160 phone cards donated to our Toms River Armory for the New Jersey
National Guard.
