Mission Statement PTO strives to enhance fellowship, communication and service to our school and beyond. Please join our energetic and committed PTO team, as we continuously plan events for our school community.
School Directory
It is the time of year when we need to get the school directory together. If you are interested in having a business card ad placed again please let me know. The cost is $10.00 for a business card. If you DO NOT want your information printed in the directory please indicate on the form that was sent home. However, your child/children's name(s) will be in the directory under their class.
Please send the form in by Friday, September 25th. If we do not hear from you, we will assume it is okay to print the information we have. Please fill out the form and send it in to Samantha Ernst c/o Morgan or Sydney in 5th grade.
Uniform Exchange The uniform exchange is functioning. Orders will be filled on Wednesdays. I will send home what I have to fill your order. If you do not receive anything in 1 week you can assume we do not have what you need. But try again another time. We are getting donations weekly. If you have any gently used uniforms please send them in to the school. Please send the uniform exchange form to school with the name and grade of your child and what they need. Also, a phone number where the parent/guardian can be reached. Send the form to Samantha Ernst c/o Morgan or Sydney, Grade 5. Volunteer Opportunities We need you! Please consider helping the PTO! All volunteers at RCS are required to have both police and child abuse clearances. A copy of a currant clearance will be accepted, however, if one must be obtained, the cost of the clearance is each individual's responsibility. Copies of the applications for clearances can be obtained in the school office or police clearances can be obtained online with an application then forwarded to obtain the child abuse clearance. This is also a very special and personal way to enrich our library resources. Donating a book in a child's name is a special way to commemorate a birthday or important milestone or perhaps a special story in memory of a wonderful teacher or parent. Please consider this important way to enhance our school resources and make a special connection with your family and RCS.
