REVIEW SHEET FOR LESSON 1.1 (test is Wednesday, October 24)

 

Be sure you know:

  • All the vocabulary on the verb sheet (also found on p. 51 on your textbook)
  • The notes on Indirect Object Pronouns and the verb gustar (found in your grammar section or on p. 42 of your textbook.)
  • About how Spanish speakers celebrate the 12th of October (found in the culture section or on pp. C6 & C7 in your textbook)

 

Useful ways to study

  • Review notes in your carpeta
  • Practice vocab with your flashcards
  • Go to the class website and your will find links to sites that can help you practice.

For some of them you can also earn extra credit. The lesson self-test is particularly useful.

  • Use the practice exercises of pp. 52 & 53 of your textbook to review the lesson.  (you don’t need to be able to do the Comparación Cultural.  Be sure to review your notes on El Día de la Raza instead.)
  • Use the “Para y Piensa” activities throughout the chapter to check your comprehension.  Compare your answers to the correct answers found on p. R10.  You will find these on pp. 34, 36, 39, 41, 44, and 47.

 

Be sure you can:

 Answer questions like these in a complete sentence.

5.      ¿Qué te gusta hacer cuando hace frío?

 

6.      ¿Qué te gusta hacer cuando hace calor?

 

7.      ¿Qué te gusta hacer cuando nieva?

 

8.      ¿A quién le gusta (any verb)?

 

9.      ¿Qué le gusta hacer a tu compañero/a?

 

10.  ¿Qué le gusta hacer a la Sra. Lotterman?

 

 

 

Write a short note including the following:

·        Say what you like to do in different kinds of weather

·        Say what you don’t like to do

·        Ask the person what he/she like to do
