February has arrived! The literature classes have almost completed all the required reading, so I'll have to 'add' more books to the reading lists. No purchases will need to be made; that's good news! In Language Arts, both the seventh and eighth grades have done quite well learning verbals. They will next be introduced to clauses and the role clauses play to make writing more 'upper level'. Hopefully, the February vacation will bring warmer weather than we have been experiencing.
