*ACC Advising*

Due to the school closure and upcoming testing, you will need to go to an ACC campus for advising so that you will have it completed by the registration date. 

Don't forget that you need to have all your paperwork with you for advising, and your Early College Start form must have all the signatures before they will complete advising with you.

ACC Registration Dates

When you may register

  • May 11: New students are eligible to register
  • May 4: Current and former students are eligible to register, depending on the number of ACC semester credit hours, including hours in progress (see the chart below):

If you have the following semester credit hours at ACC (completed and in progress) ... You are eligible to register beginning:

50-59 May 5
40-49 May 6
30-39 May 7
20-29 May 8
10-19 May 9

For all students interested in taking classes through ACC

 (either on the NYOS campus or on the ACC campus)

You must meet with Ms. Watts for advising.  Ms. Watts must sign your ACC form before you can get it signed by Ms. Atchley or attend advising with the ACC counselor.

ACC forms are in the mailbox outside Ms. Watts' office.


Here are a few things to think about:

What types of activities will you be doing this summer that can be added to your student resume?

    • Volunteering
    • Leadership Opportunities
    • Summer School
    • ACC classes for Juniors and Seniors

Seniors (Class of 2010), start thinking about next year!

    • Sign up for the SAT and ACT
    • Make sure you student resume is up to date
    • Make a list of the top 10 colleges you are thinking about applying to next year
    • Register for scholarship information - Fastweb.com is a good website to try
    • Memorize your social security number and the NYOS  CEEB/High School Code - 440347
