Meet Mrs. Walker

My name is Mrs. Walker. I am a fourth grade teacher at Hershey Christian School! I have been teaching for over 20 years. WOW! I love to use the talents God gave me and teach wonderful young people like those in my class. We will have a fantastic year and I look forward to getting to know each of you throughout this year.

I am happily married to a big, tall, and handsome man. We have two beautiful daughters. The oldest is a senior theater major at Edinboro University. Our youngest is a sophomore at Eastern University majoring in Music Performance and Economic Development. They are my pride and joy. We also have two cats that rule the house. Mittens is all black with four white paws and a white mask. Thumbelina was the runt of the litter; we call her Thimble for short. She is all black and still a runt.

I hold a Bachelor of Christian Education degree and a Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Literacy degree. Next to teaching and continuing my education, some of my favorite things to do are spend time with my family, read historical novels, and visit historical places. I also love to collect things like candles, old recipes, and country items. I am very health conscious. I routinely exercise (I also weight train!), do not eat much meat, and eat many fruits and vegetables. However, I have one BIG weakness – I love chocolate – That is why I decided to teach in Hershey! – Just kidding.
